More Than a Name
Elena is a family-run company based in Greater Poland. Since 1990, they’ve been working with herbs, fruits and vegetables. Processing them thoughtfully and without unnecessary additives. They do everything in-house. Every product that leaves their facility has gone through a full process: harvesting, freeze-drying and packing.
What makes them stand out today is something increasingly rare: deep knowledge of the raw material. Not just the ingredients, but their aroma, moisture and origin. This isn’t a side project or seasonal trend. This is their life and passion.
History
It started with a small herb processing facility in Kokanin, a quiet village in central Poland with just under 900 residents. Franciszek Siegien set up the first freeze-drying tables for herbs back when many companies were just starting to think about entering the natural products market. Since then, a lot has changed: technologies, scale and expectations. But the foundations have stayed the same: honest processing, a straightforward approach, no nonsense.
Today, Elena is a modern facility that works with both individual customers and business clients, including those in the food, pharmaceutical and gastronomy industries, in Poland and abroad.

Elena doesn’t rely on big claims about quality. They have the documents, procedures and audits to prove it. They follow international standards:
- BRCGS Food Safety (A+)
Food safety certification for freeze-drying, encapsulating, and packing. Audited by TUV NORD. - Organic : PL-EKO-06
EU organic certification. - HACCP and ISO 22000:2018
Food safety and hygiene standards for food processing. - Kosher Certificate
Issued by the Union of Jewish Religious Communities in Poland – covers a broad range of products. - Crossed Grain Symbol

Official confirmation that Elena’s production and quality are 100% based in Poland.
